The Tour
Join Tui Tours for our Matakana & NZ Country Life Tour which will take you over Auckland’s Harbour Bridge, where we follow the coastal roads, stopping frequently for views of our stunning North Shore beaches. For a real bush and beach and country experience, this is the tour for you.
Continuing north of the city limits, we will visit the Honey Centre near Warkworth which boasts New Zealand’s largest display of live bees, where a huge range of honeys are available for tasting,with a wide range of honey-related skincare products, ointments, honey mead and fruit wine await your perusal.

In the village of Matakana we visit the renowned Morris and James Pottery works to see their amazing range of individually hand-crafted pots, wall art and sculptural pieces. There is a tour of the pottery where you can see the potters at their craft.

we will visit Sheepworld. As well as demonstrating the NZ sheep and wool story Sheepworld has some great ways to experience the NZ nature first hand and to meet with some of our friendly wildlife and farm animals.
We have a short stop at the hidden gem of Parry Kauri Park, with its 600 year and 800 year old kauri trees. There is a short board walk where you can experience New Zealand native bush and birdlife. Sullivans Bay – Mahurangi Regional Park
This is a superb example of one of our East Coast beaches and features stunning views of the coast on the drive in.
The historic village of Puhoi where you can imagine how it was to live here in the 1800’s. See the Historic Hotel and the tiny Library built by the early Bohemian settlers.
